Man’s best friend

I have lived with them for a very long time now,

We have grown to like each other so much

There is no search for the depth of our love

Our relationship spans thousands of years.

When I hate, I hate with all that is within me

And when I love, I love with all that is within me

I fell in love with them over 30,000 years ago

I wasn’t in this skin and body but my ancestors were.

My search for meat crumbs started it all

They took me in n’ fed me when I had nothing at all

This ape on two feet acclimatised me to its home

Ever since our love became rooted deep within the bone.

It may be the most dangerous of creature alive

Using every other creatures for its personal gain

I still love the Homo sapien no matter what

Thousands of years ago I had pledged loyalty and support.

Our offsprings lived and grew side by side

Our love knew no bounds but our genes does

We never mixed or interbred with each other

We are two different Order all together.

The curiosity of the Homo sapien became wild

It sought through the planet to fulfill its lust

It’s lechery wasn’t restrained by bounds

Unrestrained libido, it made coitus with other creatures.

I may be a bitch but my dignity I would never ditch

My beloved friend has lost its mind

Sexual comforts it now seeks from that which is not its kind

Has the custodian of dignity now become a bitch?
